PRAYER

Prayer is so much more than simply asking God for things we want. It’s about being in His presence. It is our fervent desire that our people learn to be a praying people — a people that seeks God with all our hearts, souls and minds! Therefore, the Prayer Ministry is a vital outreach to the people of Powers Drive. If you have a prayer request or praise report, or are in the hospital, please call the office so that we can pray for you.

The Prayer Center- The purpose of the Prayer Center, located near the church office, adjacent to the worship center, is for you to experience the power and presence of the Lord Jesus and to develop a passion for prayer. Please feel free to visit us and lift up your petitions to the Lord.

Powers Prayer Partners

“So Joshua did as Moses told him, and fought with Amalek, while Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill. Whenever Moses held up his hand, Israel prevailed, and whenever he lowered his hand, Amalek prevailed. But Moses’ hands grew weary, so they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat on it, while Aaron and Hur held up his hands, one on one side, and the other on the other side.” – Exodus 17:10-13. Just as Aaron and Hur held up Moses’ arms, so we are asking our friends and members to lift up the arms of our Senior Pastor, Casey Butner, and those of our leaders as we look to reach our city, country and world with the Good News of Jesus Christ.

With this in mind, we invite you to join the “Powers Prayer Partners,” where you will be informed about prayer needs that exist within our church family. Click here to register.
